A blog about my love of information, the infinite ways to share information, the exciting and ever evolving means of researching information, and the specific details of some of the information I love.
Currently Reading:
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life - Barbara Kingsolver
Moby-Dick - Herman Melville
Next in My Reading Queue:
A Jury of Her Peers - Elaine Showalter (Thanks for the great bday gift sis!)
How We Decide - Jonah Lehrer
Art Museum Libraries and Librarianship - Joan Benedetti
I am on the brink of becoming a grad student in Library and Information Science, and am extremely eager to delve into the complexities of being a knowledge worker! Geeky? No. Awesome! Ultimately, I hope to mold this into an Art Librarianship or Special Collections career, topped with a splash of pedagogy for good measure. It is all about doing work that fosters a strong sense of community. I am passionate in my belief that information is for everyone, and everyone needs to have access to the tools of retrieval!
